The Persona series, explained | Polygon, The Persona series, explained | Polygon, 4/13/2019 · Persona is a compilation of four different short films, directed by four different actors. Need less to say, that meant a lot of different roles and characters played by our versatile and talented IU. I was eagerly waiting for the movie right when I saw the teaser. I couldn’t even pick which movie/character I was most excited for.
Persona concludes with “Walking at Night,” a black and white short in which IU plays a deceased woman who appears in her former boyfriend’s dream. In that dream, the couple takes a walk at night, reminiscing about bygones and musing about the nature of love, life, and death.

Persona contains 4 separate stories and each story is directed by a different director. All four directors created their stories while motivated by IU. Cast. She signed with Kakao M (formerly LOEN Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her album Lost and Found.
She performed the song live for the first time on the music program M! Countdown on September 18, 2008, making it her debut performance as a professional singer.
On March 10, 2011, IU performed as the opening act for British singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae ‘s first solo concert in Seoul with two songs, before joining Bailey Rae during her performance of Put Your Records On .
IU released her second cover album, A Flower Bookmark 2 on September 22, 2017.
On November 2, 2019, IU began her second Asian tour, Love Poem, in Gwangju.
